LINE Games Announces Its Upcoming Premium Survivor/Soulslike Title: Ember and Blade
April 11, 2025 – Seoul, South Korea – LINE Games today officially unveiled its latest in-house developed title, Ember and Blade, through an announcement trailer, alongside the launch of its official Steam page, teaser website, and social media channels.
Ember and Blade is a premium action title for PC that blends survivor-like gameplay with soulslike combat elements. The first playable demo is set to debut on Steam in the second half of 2025, with an official retail release targeted for 2026.
Set in a dark fantasy world, Ember and Blade follows the story of a demon hunter named Fenrix, who, on the brink of death, forms a pact with an angel to gain immortality.
Players will journey through a sealed, forsaken realm to stop the resurrection of an ancient archdemon — facing overwhelming odds and unraveling the dark secrets of a dying world.
With a distinct visual style built around subdued colors and stylized art, the game offers fast-paced, action-driven gameplay. Players will engage in intense one-versus-many encounters and take on challenging boss fights built around intricate combat patterns. A flexible character progression system encourages diverse builds and personalized playstyles.
Ember and Blade offers full controller and handheld gaming PC support, along with New Game Plus (NG+) for extended replayability, in addition to traditional keyboard and mouse controls — ensuring a seamless experience across a variety of control setups..
