LINE Games Launches New Season 'New Age' for Hack-and-Slash RPG UNDECEMBER!

  January 15, 2026 – Seoul, South Korea – LINE Games has updated new season New Age for the multi-platform hack-and-slash action RPG UNDECEMBER, developed by NEEDS Games and serviced by LINE Games.   The core of the new season New Age lies in the largest balance overhaul in the game’s update history, affecting more than 100 skill and link runes. Overall skill performance and synergy structures have been entirely revamped, bringing sweeping changes to the combat dynamics and delivering a more advanced and refined UNDECEMBER gameplay experience for players.   Through this balance update, previously underutilized skills and builds have gained renewed competitiveness. Moving away from gameplay centered on a small number of dominant builds, players can now enjoy higher-level combat that leverages a wider variety of combinations and strategies.   The game’s growth systems have also been improved in this update. New special materials have been added that can nearly double the Essence drop rate compared to before, and for a limited time, the existing Darkness Energy can be replaced and used as these special materials. In addition, system changes have been implemented so that Darkness Energy is no longer required when entering the Chaos Dungeon. This update creates an environment where players can freely enjoy unrestricted gameplay even in high-tier content in Chaos Dungeon’s Hard Difficulty.   New rewards have been added to Abyss Gate, the endgame content of UNDECEMBER, for first-time clears at each stage.   [2025-09-05] LINE Games has announced that it will be releasing the new season 'Abyss Gate' for the multi-platform hack-and-slash action RPG 'UNDECEMBER', developed by NEEDS Games and serviced by LINE Games.   This season focuses on satisfying players' desire for challenging content and offering unprecedented season rewards. The highlight of this season’s update is the 'Abyss Gate', a new high-difficulty dungeon that poses an even greater challenge than the 'Chaos Dungeon'.   'Abyss Gate' is a demanding mode in which characters cannot revive or re-enter upon death. LINE Games Launches Major ‘Starwalker’ Season Update for Hack-and-Slash Title UNDECEMBER

  May 9, 2025 – Seoul, South Korea – LINE Games, in partnership with developer Needs Games, today announced the launch of UNDECEMBER’s newest season update, titled Starwalker.   This substantial update brings a variety of new gameplay systems, expanded progression mechanics, and exciting in-game events to the hit hack-and-slash action RPG.   Headlining the Starwalker update is “Wheel of Fate,” a new single-player feature where players advance through a constellation-shaped map filled with randomized Chaos Dungeon nodes. Reaching the center of the board may trigger a boss encounter with the powerful Starlight Guardian, who drops exclusive rewards including a new Link Rune and Artifact upon defeat.   The update also introduces a Gear Synthesis system, allowing players to combine materials earned from Wheel of Fate using a new Astrologer NPC. This system offers a chance to craft advanced gear, including the newly added endgame 2-Handed Sword.   Two new Skill Runes, Lightning Slash and Flash, expand combat strategies. Lightning Slash chains lightning damage between enemies, while Flash delivers rapid strikes along a charging path. These can be further empowered with the new Link Rune “Iai-jutsu”, designed to amplify attack damage.   UNDECEMBER's difficulty and progression systems have also been reworked:   Monster level cap increased to 170   Chaos Dungeon now features a new level structure, capping at Level 40   A newly revamped Unpicked Ranking System selects top players based on highest DPS with non-overlapping skills.
